The Highland Park Montessori School was founded in 1987 by Carol Ann Lee. Carol Lee has been teaching since 1982 in Montessori schools in Illinois.
All of our teachers are Montessori certified and our schools are affiliated with the American Montessori Society. The Highland Park Montessori Schools serve children developmentally from ages 6 months to 6 years; academically from age 2 through kindergarten.

A second location, Montessori Connection West was founded in 1993. Norma Morley is the director and has been with the school since its inception.

Montessori Connection East followed in 1996.
The director of this location is Patricia Parker.
